After the trauma of moving house it was great to get back on the road, having a great time opening for Dar Williams – thanks to everybody at the shows so far in Sharpthorne and Sheffield who sang so beautifully!  How I managed to find the venue in Sharpthorne I’ll never know though…

Maidstone tonight – looking forward to that, battery running out again – more soon!

After a fantastic couple of weeks touring the country opening for Brian Kennedy it’s back home and some kind of normality – although moving house kind of puts paid to that… Thanks so much to all the people who came and spoke to me after the shows or sent emails – it really was great to play to you all and I hope we can do it again soon. By the way if anybody took any shots from any of the gigs it would be great to post them on the site.

So tomorrow I’m playing a show with the lovely Lizzy Parks at the Coallition in Brighton and we have another show in October at the Queen of Hoxton, london. Then in November there will be some more solo shows supporting Dar Williams, dates and venues on the flyer posted below.

Sunny and lovely down here on the south coast!

I seem to be having some trouble with my gigs calendar on this website (I cant make it work…) So here is a update with the details of the next few dates I’ve got coming up. I’ll create a “Gigs” page which which will just be a manual blog type thing but at least it will have the info on it.

Costa coffee would not be my normal choice to feed my tea addiction but it’s the only place in Oakham I can find with WiFi… (Actually the tea isn’t that bad, at least it’s in a pot). Wanted to say thankyou to everyone who came to the Brian Kennedy shows at Bilston and Bury last night and Tuesday. It’s been really great chatting to people after the shows and i’m really touched by some of the things people have been saying. I’m not really good at this web business but I do have a mailing list – if you e-mail me throught the ‘contact’ page i’ll make sure you get added to the list for all the news, gig updates and pre-order info for the album etc. By the way a special thanks to the lovely lady at tesco’s who made me a bowl of soup yesterday evening when she really shouldn’t have done.
